Mellow Monkey Art creates two main types of work: immersive 3D chalk / street art for events and public spaces, and custom wall murals for schools, homes, offices, and children's facilities. You can explore examples of both in the art gallery.
We are based in South Florida and regularly work throughout South and Central Florida. For projects outside Florida, travel fees may apply and can be included in your quote.
For most projects, booking 4–6 weeks in advance is recommended.
We design and paint murals in kids’ bedrooms, playrooms, doctor offices, schools, libraries, commercial spaces, and more. You can view examples on the Wall Murals page or browse the full gallery.

Timing depends on size and detail. Simple murals may take 1–2 days, while large or detailed scenes may take 1-2 weeks or longer. For reference, you can see a variety of project sizes in the art gallery.
Most surfaces do not require special preparation as long as they are clean, primed, and in good condition. In some cases, for example porous exterior walls or high-moisture rooms, a special primer or sealer may be recommended. We can discuss any prep during the consultation phase.

Definitely. Many mural projects are designed to support educational themes such as reading, science, nature, or safety. We can collaborate with administrators and teachers to develop designs that reinforce school values, safety reminders, or educational messaging.
3D chalk art is an anamorphic drawing that appears to pop off the ground when viewed from the correct angle. You can see examples on the 3D Chalk Art page and in the gallery.
Ideal surfaces include clean, dry concrete or asphalt. It can also be created on rougher surfaces like pavers or even a cardboard substrate. To see chalk art on different surfaces, visit the 3D Chalk Art page.
Most designs include a designated “photo spot” so guests can step into the illusion. You can view interactive examples in the 3D Chalk Art portfolio.
