Stan Lee Tribute

Dec, 2018
Tempe Festival of the Arts - Tempe, AZ
Pavement Art
12'x8'

Shortly after the death of the great Stan Lee, it seemed fitting that I chalk this image as a tribute. The theme for this event was "Inspiration", and there are few who have inspired more artists, children, comic book lovers, movie-goers, and daydreamers than Mr. Marvel himself.

A Chalk Guys Collaboration

Sep, 2018
Madonnari Arts Festival - Little Italy, Baltimore, MD
Pavement Art
13'x25'

This festival was to feature a Beatles cover band playing a rooftop concert at the end of the event, so the organizers requested a Beatles image to tie in to the concert. What better image than a pic from their iconic 1969 final concert, performed on the roof of their London record company. The festival was inundated with near constant rain, but somehow we were able to complete the image during breaks in the weather. The only pictures were taken after dark unfortunately, as the image was washed away overnight, but we were just happy to have finished in the end.

They could then rotate the photo to achieve the desired effect.
